Parking

Public Parking
Free parking and shuttle service to the festival is available at Union Station and the offices of BlueCross BlueShield of Kansas City at 22nd Street and Grand Boulevard.

At Union Station:  Once you've parked, proceed to the southwest corner of the building to board the shuttle.

At BlueCross BlueShield:  Enter the parking lot at 22nd and Grand, follow the signs to the shuttle stop on Okay Street.

Shuttles run from 4 PM to midnight each day, and will depart and arrive at each parking lot approximately every 10 minutes.

The following parking will be available by permit only:

VIP and Handicap Parking
Please proceed to the lot behind the Full Employment Council building.  Enter off 18th Street, one block west of Paseo.

Volunteer Parking
Please park at St. Stephens Baptist Church at the northwest corner of Paseo and Truman Road.

Food and Goods Vendors/BBQ Contestant/Musician Parking
Parking will be available in the Myra Taylor Parking Lot (Attucks School/Kansas City Call) at 18th Street and Woodland Avenue.

Streets to be Blocked
Friday through Sunday the following street will be closed to traffic:
* 18th Street from Vine to Highland

Shuttles

Shuttles run from 4 PM to midnight each day, and will depart and arrive at each parking lot approximately every 10 minutes.

Metro Bus Service

Seven days a week, The Metro’s #108-Indiana and #71-Prospect routes provide frequent service to the Historic 18tth & Vine District. Along with Saturday service on the #110- Woodland/Brooklyn, event goers can choose the route that serves their neighborhood and takes them directly to Rhythm & Ribs.
